Camp Collins Overnight Creative Reflection

Welcome back to the world of being in a classroom! Before we dive back into forest, river, or geology studies -  we are going to take some time to reflect on our Camp Collins experience. This is not an intense assignment and is instead something for you to do to capture your memories and learning from the Camp Collins experience.

On a blank white sheet of paper (you can choose whatever size works best for you) you are going to create a writing/drawing piece that reflects upon your fall overnight experience.

I would like to see the following represented in your assignment:
  • A map (it does not have to be to scale) of camp - where you traveled and did stuff within Camp Collins.
  • At least 1 word and 1 image for the following sites/lessons:
    • Spider Biodiversity with Asa
    • Learning through Drama with Michael
    • Transect Mapping with Heidi
    • Trust Games with Cori
    • Life and Death in the Forest with Tara
    • Science + Nature Art with Indigo
    • Animal Tracking with Karen
    • Erosion Science with Sarah
  • At least 1 word and 1 image for the following:
    • The highlight of your trip (mark with a ☺smiley face ☺)
    • The biggest challenge you faced on this trip that you are most proud of overcoming (mark with an !exclamation point!)
    • The most important part of this experience for you (mark with a *star*)
  • The entire page should be filled

How you complete the above requirements is up to you. So long as those are on your reflection, this can look like whatever you want. You can add anything else to this reflection you want.

Use your creativity and memories of Camp Collins to create this piece.

Use your choice of medium - fine-point Sharpie, colored pencils, watercolors, markers, crayons, etc.

What isn’t finished in class today becomes homework. Use your class time wisely!
