HW due Tuesday:

1. Have your choice narrative nonfiction book in class for silent reading

Some of the reasons for homework include reinforcing or practicing what we are working on in class, practicing a consistent routine, building self-ownership, organization, and advocacy habits, and preparing students for next steps in their schooling. Given all that...

a. Essential Question - Should Michael's class have consistent weekend homework?
b. Assignment Question - If we no longer have weekend homework, how can Michael be sure that he is reaching the goals listed above?

A reminder that this Wednesday, May 2nd we are having our student led conferences from 3:30 - 6:30. Families can sign up for a time here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f44afa82fa0fd0-michaels2

Talk with your families and see what time you are planning on coming. We will spend much of Tuesday in class getting ready for these conferences.
