Winter Break Life

Happy winter break folks. I hope your time away from school is filled with family, friends, relaxation, smiles, and reading.

Your homework over winter break is to continue reading daily for at least 20 minutes.

If you are having a hard time finding a good fit book during break, check out some of these options on either of these two links:

If you send me an email (mjansa@pps.net) over break telling me what you read and what you thought about it, you can get some extra credit. Otherwise, that will you be your first homework assignment once we are all back at school.

Awesome job with your work on your Writing For Justice personal narratives and preparing our class for the Riparian Festival today.

Within all the work, I forgot to talk about tonight's homework... You can probably guess what it will be.

12/3

HW due Tuesday:

1. How Does Our Earth Work - Individual Interactive Project - work on this tonight for 26 minutes.

a. Complete Step 2: Planning + Research Organizer... You can fill this page of your green sheet out, write it down elsewhere, including a GoogleDoc. The important thing is that you know your response to these questions:
-What is my geology concept?
-What is my research question?
-How can I share my learning in an interactive way?
-What materials do I need?

If you have completed that, then move and get started with  making your interactive project! Again, we will do the write-up and connections web at school. Focus on the creating at home during your 26 minutes tonight if you get beyond step 2.
