HW due Wednesday:
1. My Hand Poem: My Hand Poem - Handout
***Observe, List, Arrange, Create***
In class we observed and listed. Your work this evening is to take what you wrote in the daily writing section of your WW Journal and to re-arrange it to create a poem. Your poem should have at least 10 lines. It can be done in a list form, using shapes such as your hand, focusing on big then going small, literal to metaphorical... There is no wrong way to do this poem, so long as you have at least 10 lines about your hands. The goals are to practice the powers of observation, use specific detail, and to realize how simple poetry can be. Please complete this on the back of your My Hand handout or on a separate sheet of paper
You do NOT need to work on your Camp Collins EQs tonight. We will go over them together again in class tomorrow before you need to finish them.
A reminder that we are not traveling this Thursday and will spend the day learning, growing, and being awesome at school.
