SPRING BREAK - to do

HAPPY SPRING BREAK. WOO HOOOO!!!

To do during spring break:
1. have fun
2. enjoy your family, friends
3. rest, relax, think, ponder the world
4. appreciate your free time
5. smile

less fun stuff to do during spring break
1. read. read. read. daily!
2. Work on your BIG personal exhibit for the museum (for most of you this is the 3d)
.....attempt to fill out the artifact sheet that goes with it (I can email you this if you don't have a copy)
.....this will be due Friday, April 6th when you get back
3. Service
...make sure you have your 3 hours for service this term (community or school)
...7th graders should be complete (or very close to complete) with their service hours for their project
....Service reflection for the term will be due Friday, April 6th when you get back
....We will be working on speeches when you get back, which is why 7th graders need to have their service done
....This Saturday there is a service opportunity at Reed College called Spring Canyon Day from 9-3 (meet at west end of canyon below the running track overlooking the farm property at 28th ave)
...8th graders this is a great time to work on portfolio stuff


Term ends April 12th

...email me about a book you finished (or read alot over break). Tell me about the book, what you thought of it, connections you had, and anything else I might find interesting
