4/3 - NewsELA - In Class Activity

Hi Core Class. Welcome back from Spring Break. I hope you all had a restful, rejuvenating, and exciting time. I'm looking forward to reconnecting and hearing your Spring Break stories when I get back. My apologies that I could not be there today.

This morning with Peter (who is awesome by the way... This should be a waaaaaay different experience then what I happened last Friday before Spring Break. Peter is a great teacher and you all are capable of managing your expectations) you are going to read 2 NewsELA articles. The first one is assigned and the second is your choice. After reading each article you must take the quiz and respond to the written questions. If you finish early you can either read other NewsELA articles (without having to take the quizzes) or you can free read. Please remember to treat the chromebooks with care.

NewsELA Instructions:

a. Login into NewsELA using your google PPS account
b. Read articles at appropriate grade level.
c. Respond to written questions and complete quiz.

***If you are prompted for a class code, try either:  Class Code: 4042j9 or 64FBB5***
